BB Anti Virus

Is there any anti virus for BB.
Person as work asked me for some info on this as he wants to do internet banking on his BB and is worried about security :wtf:
 
Tell him use a Pc for internet banking, more security features available with a pc browser, an AV on his BB won't help him much if there isn't a virus...
 
Use Internet Banking on the BB, it is faster, and I believe more secure.:)
 
I'm pretty sure viruses on BB's exist. I wouldn't put it past anyone developing an app that has malicious code in it that steals contacts/passwords/email addresses etc without the users knowledge.
 
Yes I just cleared 28 Viruses off my Blackberry Torch and I have no Idea how they got there, it must of been songs i downloaded etc...

Well no! thats why i was so surprised to find them on my phone but like Venom Rush said it could of stolen my Messages/contacts/passwords without me even knowing!!

Just out of curiousity, which program did you use to clear them off? Or did you plug your BB into your pc and scan it with your anti virus?

Yes thats what i did :) I did two separate scans one on my Mem card and on my actual phone together it came up to about 28 Viruses! had a couple mini-heartattacks when it showed me the results :P
 
I don't think Windows viruses will actually affect your blackberry, like how they dont affect linux, I could be wrong...
