BB Curve 8520 Headset Warranty?

Had the phone for less then a month and the headset is dead no abuse etc. just died. Anyone know what the warranty on acc. is for blackberry devices?
Nokia neva gave me this problem

Warranty covers the phone for 2 years and the battery for 3 months, the rest is your own problem.

There shouldn't be a problem for a replacement unit, but if the phone is water damaged their might be a problem but never once have I sent in my BlackBerry had to send in the useless 8520 for the QWERTY not typing any more and my friend had the same issues with hers. So we upgraded our BlackBerry and since then we have never locked back.

The HEADset broke, not the HANDset. NOT the PHONE, the EARPIECES.
