I'm connecting through Telkom SAIX to a rugby forum.

The header (which contains the masthead advertising for the site) is served up fine. But the page is otherwise blank. Other posters from South Africa have similar problems.

The site is at http://forum.planet-rugby.com/index.php?t=thread&frm_id=1&

View source shows that the page has been served up, but is not being rendered.

Try using OpenDNS settings 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

It doesn't help.

Without being rude (I'm grateful for all the help I can get) why do you think it would be a DNS issue? The page appears to come down fine, but doesn't render in the browser. Apart from the masthead adverts.

I thought it would be something to do with the SAIX squid proxy server.

Stay away from OpenDNS if you want to enjoy the benefits of AKAMAI/Google which rely on your IP to determine where you are to serve you from local cache/mirror servers. You won't get that stuff locally if you use an international DNS server such as OpenDNS.

I'm also using SAIX's cache network and don't experience the problem you are. Have you tried holding down ctrl / alt / shift (depending on your browser) and refresh (f5) at the same time? That will force a clean reload of all content overriding cache.

Yes, tried all that.

Funny thing, the page appears to be all there when you view the page source (<CTRL>+U in FF), but just doesn't render on the canvas.

You can view the Forum without any problems?

Can anyone else view the forum?
