BB9900 downloading extremely slow..... how do I fix this?

My internet is at a fairly average speed but when it comes to downloading, it is ridiculously slow....for example to download a 250mb document takes around 8 minutes.

Now I have been hearing rumors that vodacom is throttling downloads... To prevent downloads cause well its for free...

I'm on BES and not BIS and thought this will make it faster...

Any ideas? I cleaned out cache...logs... Etc

Stick it on wifi somewhere uncapped or free.

Wimpy usually have free wifi

8min for 250mb is quite fast
