A Telkom official quoted by the independent South African website My Broadband said research by an international pricing research body, Tarifica, demonstrated Telkom's call rates were competitive and affordable.

RPM, any truth to this claim?

Maybe the BBC can get a hold on a copy of the Tarifica report

I think someone from My ADSL / Broadband should drop them (BBC News) a line and set the story straight

I tried to get a copy of the report from Tarifica and it was some ridiculous amount, something like £15 000+. Can't recall the exact amount off hand b/c I couldn't be bothered with such a high price.
