BBC iPlayer not working on PS3

Anybody having the same problem? Only raised its head recently. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no dice. Unotelly is working fine with BBC Sport app even though the app is a bit of a dog.
 
Which countries ps3 account do you have ? Also make sure that unotelly is set to UK. The anroid Unotelly app works wonders
 
Still can't get this working after many reinstalls :( Checked unotelly and everything looks good?

Firstly, check that your ps3 Internet settings for dns is set to automatic and not manual. If you do want to go the manual route make sure that your cpt/jhb dns server addresses are the updated one's on unotelly's website. If you go the preferred route, which is the dns settings on your router, also check that the dns server addresses are updated. Probably safer to then reboot router and update unotelly to your new ip. No you dont need a account. All you need is to make sure your external IP address shows as being in the UK. Services like Overplay and Unotelly can do that for a nominal amount of cash.
 
I seem to have the same problem can't connect to BBC iPlayer
 
Does your PSN account need to be of the UK to get the app? i can't recall ever seeing this app in the US app store?
