The survey shows whether people think the country had a positive influence on the world. This doesn't mean that they think SA is a wonderful place to invest in or work in. It would be interesting to compare this to those results if they exist.
 
This is obviously based on an incorrect perception. Ask them the same question, but mention who our allies are, and what we have been voting for in the UN.

Whose to say which perception is right or wrong? Just because it doesnt match yours?

I didn't say my perception is right, I said their perception is wrong.
Our friends are among the least favoured in the world, and I assume that if people knew who our friends were, and that we had been pushing their agenda's, they would think very differently.

Hmm, why is Israel seen in a less positive light then? (They are the next country featured in the document)
 
I wonder out of our overall population how many know where the USA is on a map.
I wonder out of our overall population, say a random survey in any shopping centre anywhere in SA, how many people can name and point out our provinces.
