If you had a Blackberry ID linked to it. I think those only came about with later versions of BBM.

A long time ago might have been an over exaggeration. It was +/- 2 years ago. So it did have a BB ID.

Will wait and see when this comes out. I do suspect most of my friends have since moved off BB tho.
