BBM message not going through (23/07)

Anyone else who had problems today with their BBM messages not going through? My wife and I both had problems today. Still not perfect yet.

Is it a RIM problem or Service Provider? Everyone we tried to contact is on MTN.

Also having issues on MTN as are two of my friends on Vodacom. The people I'm sending messages to get the message but they don't show as delivered on my side

I'm on vodacom bis everything was working fine.so maybe mtn was somehow congested. It sometimes happen on vodacom,but not frequently.
 
I think it's RIM. I'm on Vodacom and BBM has been, well stuffed today. MTN people saying the same.

Was reading a thread on Crackberry and some guy in the USA was mentioning the exact same problem, hence me saying it could be RIM.
 
Yeah I also had hassles today so I searched for #bbm on twitter and found people as far as NY having problems, guessing it's a RIM issue.
 
Been having issues since this morning. On VC. It is all over the net. RIM and/or BIS having global issues it seems.
 
Pretty sure it was RIM problem yesterday.

I'm accessing BBM via ship's Wi-Fi connected to Satellite link - currently in the Arabian Sea, so I can't blame MTN. Hassles all afternoon, our time.

Kids in the UK and Dubai also had similar issues.

Rim shoud give a free bb every couple months

My son had the same problem since last night, but the service went back to normal late this afternoon. Mine was fine and running like a dream...
 
I have just been informed by some BBM contacts that their has been 3outages in 1 week. I seldomly use BBM but was I actually surprised when I tried to use it on Saturday. I am assuming a lot of employees were retrenched and decided to mess up the BBM servers...
