The Xbox Was still under warranty, But instead of sending it back to UK, I manage to fix it Successfully

If i strip a new xbox for spares to fix other's i can make more actualy

Hey there guys, just to keep this thread alive...

Unfortunately i saw this thread a bit late, only after i bought a PIC programmer online from this SHADY MORNE CHARACTER :sick: last week sunday (25/02/2006). Here's my story...

I ordered the PIC Programmer from www.mod-chips.co.za on sunday and paid the extra R80.00 for delivery within 2 days... low and behold when it wasn't here by wednesday i started getting slightly anxious, (which was the same time i stumbled onto this site)... reading through this thread i actually got quite P'd OFF... I offer the same services as morne, and when i say something will be done in 2 days, it's always done in 2 days... doesn't this guy keep stock or what??? well anyway... after e-mailing him and phoning him (obviously there was no reply to either), i decided to get in my car and go to his work on friday... (If i had known i lived about 20km's from his shop i would have been there long ago instead of ordering online...) when i got there i was told that they had shipped it the day before(Thursday) and that it should be there friday or saturday(Do couriers even deliver on a saturday???)... the lady at the front showed me a printed paper of my order with a tracking number on it... (He didn't even have the audacity to come to the front and face me)... i took the number down and went on my merry way, only to phone speed services and find out there is no such tracking number... well i called them again on saturday, and still no such number... then i called his place of business, he wasn't their (like usual) and the lady said she'd phone speed services and call me straight back (a call i'm still waiting to get).i then phoned morne's cell (thanx for whoever posted it here?????:confused: )and obviously this just rang till voice mail... well after a lengthy,heated voicemail i thought he would definately reply...didnt happen:eek: ... my girlfriend decided to call him yesterday and try her hand at getting hold of him (which she managed to get right somehow)(anyone wanna get her a job as a debt collector cos she gets right what i cant:p ...)anyway she was told once again that it was speed services fault and that we should call him today... well basically he once again blamed speed services (now stating that he sent it on friday???:rolleyes: )and after she phoned a lawyer today and threatend him with legal action, he eventually called back and told her that he'll refund her card,explaining that on his site it says 7 working days, + 2 days for the couriour... well i've got a little cut and paste from your website that i'll post at the bottom here and everyone can judge that claim...

Anyway... this guys a real P**k... being in the same industry as him for over 5 years i know how important your customers are... if this is the way you treat them... good luck for your modding future... cos at least my customers keep coming back...

I'll check in later about that refund...

If I was this guy, I would have seriously looked at my service delivery after this thread and the others out there. Instead he just pulls the same **** again. Maybe we should just start a smear campaign and post a warning on all the forums we are members of?

This is true... but i wouldn't call it a smear campaign... maybe something mor subtle like:
this_guy_is_a_pr*k_and_steals_your_money_and_has_no_idea_how_to_answer_a_phone_or_send_e-mails_so_beware_of_this_FRAUD!!! CAMPAIGN!!!

Having gr8 prices is one thing... actually getting what you paid for is another... but i have a question for you...why does a guy who has a mod chip company have an Epson R300 Printer with extended ink tanks at his store, which is capable of Printing DVD's... what would he need something like that???:p

I suggest you take that up with him, but before you do, read the whole thread on that xbox360 forum, its all covered in there.

If you have lost out on something, I suggest you post in that forum as it appears to get the best results.
 
Thanx... just posted their too... i'm not a guy who wants to complain... i buy on the net alot, and more from over seas than here... i bought R3500.00's chips last week friday from austria and it arrived here today... so what's with his service???

i still need the PIC Programmer... but will have to find that somewhere else then...

I know this is a long time after the other posts, but I have been searching for wii modchips in South Africa when I came apon this thread. I just thought I'd say that the site seems to the down now.

Ok assuming we believe the 3000 consoles a year
or average it out to 250 a month, say 25 a day.

I doubt the figure is even half that but anyhow.

If you are dealing with 25 consoles a day and you do not have the proper ability to track them then that is ridiculous. When people say the console went to you and never came back and your only reply is "send me details and ill see if i still have it" it confuses the hell out of me. You must know, your tracking cant be so bad that you are unsure of consoles in - consoles out surely ?

Seriously if anyone gets anything from that place after reading this thread its their own fault when their money/console vanishes into thin air
