I receive intermittent disconnections. Some days i can disconnect every 5 mins. For browsing this is fine but if you use any application that runs continuously it times out and resets.I have experiencing this problems for at least the last 3 years.. I have called Telkom over and over and even had technicians come out. At best the problem was resolved for a week and then continued after that. It seems everytime they sort it out, it is very temporary. Very frustrating! I was advised to replace my filters which were a few years old. I've done that as well as test a new adsl router.. The problem still persists. Regardless which ISP i use the problem is still there.. It's def a problem on Telkoms side.

--ADSL line speed (like 1Mbps, 4Mbps etc)
4Mbps
--ISP name and account type (like MWEB uncapped)
Openweb Uncapped (Used other isp's and the problem persists, not ISP related)
--The time of day when you typically see these problems
This tends to happen more during the day. At night it seems to be alot better
Optional, but it will be great if you can also give the following information:
--A traceroute to Telkom.co.za

--The actual sync speed of the line

--The attenuation stats of the line
