An associate of mine is looking for a home connection, and his 3G signal is too poor to even consider. How does the Bedfordview tower(s) behave? I'm specifically looking in the area around AG De Witt and van Buuren. I wouldn't want him to think he has a great signal after testing, only to find he's on an overloaded or problematic tower.

Thanks in advance.

They used to behave, but lately they tend to run around after dark even after shouting at them.
Just be careful though, they play hide and seek on the weekends too, and they have been known to trample people.
They are busy attending obedience classes though :D

I don't know about their signal though, sorry. :D

lol...anyways
I stay by eastgate and bedford centre and my connection is pretty good. The thing is my modem's by a window looking straight at bedford centre (bedford gardens i suppose) but says im connecting to sandton city tower. On the opposite side of my house it connects to linksfield ridge which is a bit crappier. So i dont really know whats going on but hey, it works for me.
All i can say is do a signal test and find out fo shaw.

Already organised that bit, but it doesn't cover the finer bits like overloading, etc. Thanks.

Well you can run UTTracestar during the test and check the load, as well as how many towers it sees to check if there'll be any hopping.

If you test during the day, then you're seeing about the worst it's going to be anyway.
