My parents need to buy a new bed.

Does any of you guys have a Cloud Nine memory foam bed?

I have a Dynamic Bedding turn free bed and would never go back to the old spring technology. But it’s a bit pricey for the parents. (R8 900)

The pest priced ones are the Cloud Nine range. (Round about R 5 000)

Or do you suggest something else in that price range?

Cloud 9 is very hard.
I have a back problem and Chiros recomended this bed (probably cos its the 'cheapest good bed for backs'). I paid 3k.
But, though the bed is OK for backs, it is hard, and i had trouble sleeping.
Then bought a Furty winks with latex for 10k. This name is a generic for Symmonds - has Pocket coils....
Awesome bed, contours nicely to body.
U do get cheaper versions of forty winks (the latex is expensive), they all pocket coils with a cushion on top (do not turn).

My advice though is that they must test the bed themselves.

I do this differently.

I replace the mattress once every year, so spending more than R2000 on it is insane.

I visit dial-a-bed, mooch around in the shop testing the mattresses out, pick the one that feels firm without any knobbly spots that also does not disturb the other side when I roll about, and then convince them the take my old mattress when they deliver my new one.

Turning a mattress once a month does not bother me at all.

I have yet to find better prices at any place other than Dial-a-bed.

P.S. Parents do not shag. I don't care what you think or have heard or may know, but, no, parents do not shag.

i bought a restonic. never again. it has become so uneven now my back is going south of note. Who sells those Cloud 9 things?

Bwhahahahaha!! :o:D

I remember when I realized my mom was pregnant with my Brother. I was sooooooooo disgusted, Now I’m the same age my mother was when she had him. :D:o

So how many kids do you have now!

I'm guessing 4 and you about ready to pop your fifth!

furniture city has some decent beds on special...

...i bought my gf a new sealy from there, and i must say i am impressed

ps: we got delivery for r100 down from r350, when we complained

Hey miss Mila :)

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I still need to get me a new bed. I'm _STILL_ using a single bed and kinda think I'm outgrowing it by now.

Which is a good size for a bachelor? Double or queen? What's the average prices of those beds now anyway?
