Beekman Canopy restore

Hi,

I need advise on restoring the fininsh on a Beekman Canopy. Basically it looks like a gloss varnish thats peeling. I assume it is a protective coat that was put on 5 years ago but peeling now. The silver colour finish underneath has faded slightly against my new bakkies silver paint. See pictues attached.

I am sellig it and want to know if it needs repainting or can it be buffed off.

I would go to a panel beater and ask for advise, or even send the pic's to beeckmans and ask them.
