My bank account has slunk off into a corner to lick it wounds and won't be out to play for a couple of months, but I got the D90! :D

So I have played with it a bit, and the sheer amount of settings is quite daunting. Can anyone suggest some good web resources for a beginner?

Congrats on your purchase. I ams jaloors cause I want to get my new camera but need to save for a couple more months. :(

Back on topic! You may find this site quite useful. Have fun!!

YouTube. :)

Search for aperture, shutter speed, depth of field... Check the links on the side as you get deeper - will show you the most popular vids.

D90 must be quite daunting to a newbie. :D

Have you absorbed the manual yet? Assuming it's anything like the typical canon manual it's should be full of useful stuff.
Yeah, great guide

HDR weirdoes might like it, but you shouldn’t need HDR if you do your lighting and use fill flash properly.

The manual is quite comprehensive, but I am working through the D90 for Dummies right now.
