Beijing 2008 for PS2 ?

I see no reason not to. There are 140 million ps2's out there, if they want to make money the ps2 is a great idea as a platform.

Exactly !!! Athens 2004 has come out..But Beijing 2008 hasn't

I will have to go for Summer Athletics if Beijing 2008 doesn't come out for the PS2

have you seen the graphics requirements (or have you read the developer's blog on that game) the developer's clearly stated the gfx engine were designed for nextgen consoles thats why an inherent requirement of beijing 08 is a shader model 3 gfx card, the sheer gfx requirements was also a reason why the wii didnt get the game ! now considering the fact that the wii runs at just over 700mhz and the cpu in the ps2 is clocked at around 300mhz, bear in mind the wii has a newer gpu compared to the ps2  now do u honestly think that is possible ! The ps2 just dont have the necessary grunt available

Thanks man. I have the game for PC..But I need to get a new GFX Card to play the game because I don't have 'Shader 3.0' - Same applies to RaceDriver GRID

Don't see why not. They released alone in the dark for the ps2/ps3

the gfx engines are not the same ! they also released spiderman 3 on the ps2, test drive unlimited, double agent etc.

Some of those games have totally different game engines which means that even though they share the same name the underlying game engine is completely different ! it can clearly be seen with double agent it has the same name as it's ps3/xbox counterparts but it is a different game ! ask why didnt metal gear 4 get released on the ps2 then (considering it has a larger fanbase than the ps3).

When resident evil 4 got ported from the gamecube to the ps2 major sacrifices had to be made graphically for the game to work on the ps2 and that wasnt even a nextgen game.

to simplify things would you fit an engine from a enzo ferrari into a 18wheeler truck and still expect the truck to perform like an enzo ?

The GC may have had a better gpu but the ps2 had a dualcore cpu.

Would I have time to use the loo ?

Not much, I assure you. But if you set it up right you can still see the TV from the bathroom. Being wireless you have good range.

Try a 360, you won't be sorry. Back me up here Dolby! :p

Now that is what I call Gaming Sh*t :D

lol

Yup dump the PS2. If you feel frustrated about not being able to afford the PS3, don't worry you're not alone. You can find friends elsewhere, buy a 360 and join the next generation.
