I have a colleague in Beijing... she tells me it's interesting how when CNN reports about Tibet appear on the telly, the screen mysteriously goes blank for the 3 minutes or so of the report...

Try looking up Tibet or Tiananmen Square on wikipedia from China. You be met with a mysterious forbidden message.

Seriously... it's crazy... why do they want the olympics anyway?
What gets me is the way Africa is embracing China... two big banks here at home are proof... do they really think the Chinese are going to smile and keep the money here? Nothing against Chinese btw... it's the politics of a behemoth who can control the worlds markets like no-one else we know.
What really bugs me is the way Africa is so quick to sell it's assets and natural reserves. It's the new slavery for the continent...
