4 - 20 February

Starts on Friday. Looking forward to it but I guess the times will suck again for us. Not sure if SA has someone take part again this year.

SuperSport’s multi-channel offering will be spread across DStv on SS Variety 1-4 and SS Action plus a 24-hour news channel via streaming on the DStv app.

Daily highlights will be broadcast from 7-9pm on Variety 1.

Several live events (which will not be on linear television) will be available on multiple DStv app channels.

The opening ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday (Variety 4 at 2pm) with the closing ceremony on February 20.

Oh I just saw they have actually started already with curling, ice hockey and skiing

In my next life I'm going to be an Olympic sports commentator and earn money for stating the obvious like, "this is anyone's race", and, "we'll know who wins at the end".

My personal favourite - "she's up against some stiff competition".

We know that you twat, it's the Olympic Games !

Journalists being hustled off air by security officials ..... go you commies

Always wanted to try skeleton :)

Watched a bit of Luge, Ski Jump, Curling and Ice Hockey this weekend.

Always enjoy watching Olympics - even if i dont know much about any of there games

The only events I can think of that I don't like are figure skating and ski jumping.

Other than that I watch everything. My favourites are downhill/slalom/super G, skeleton/luge/bobsleigh, speed skating and snowboarding.

The only time we really get to see these things live in SA.

Pretty much the same, although I can tolerate figure skating.

I remember watching ski jumping a bit and hoped to see a wipe out to make it more interesting.. One guy did wipe out and it was really horrible to see...

Downhill Skiing is my favourite I think.

I just don't like artistic stuff. It's worse at the summer Olympics.

And I could never get into ski jumping. The most boring event imo.
