I found this piece of software and will heartedly advise anyone who is concerned about their pc security to have a look at it.
Called Belarc Advisor it does a very detailed analysis of your PC including, and probably most importantly, the PC's security status. It is freeware for private use and can be downloaded at http://www.belarc.com/. (1028kb)
It has a look, and advise you of all the needed OS patches as well as your users account profiles etc.
