The second hop explains it all. My connection is incredibly sluggish. This is throughout most of the day. It improves somewhat after 8PM.

Either Telkom is working on this exchange or there are some MAJOR congestion issues. I am on Openweb 4Mbps Gold Uncapped. Not that it makes any difference in this situation.

You are not the only person on this exchange with congestion problems. I suggest you contact TelkomZA with your traceroute and adsl Tel# a.s.a.p. It may take a few days for him to reply, but he will get the right people on the problem.

Can't find a user called TelkomZA. There's only a TelkomSuig en TelkomSeMoer ens... :)

Having the same problems with a lot of timeouts. Third time this year.

I seem to be having this problem in Oosterzee, Parow now.
Latency was very high to eu.battle.net for the whole day.
It was back to normal after 2am last night but this morning it's kisboude again.

Trace complete.

I have a fault logged with Telkom but was wondering what exactly the problem could be. I also did a pathping to EU and the least packet loss I get is 84%. The rest is between 95% and 100%.

I stay in stellenridge and have been getting really bad pings on different ISP accounts since this morning.

Not sure if they're upgrading the exchange or if its just congestion because iv never had issues with congestion since i got my line in jan this year. Is this what you'd see if they were upgrading the exchange to the new telkom network management system?

Yea - Contact TelkomZA with the above and see if the team can do anything.
