Please could you explain what features/benefits (besides the obvious added ability to watch Blu-Ray Disks) are if I add a Smart Blu-Ray player to my smart tv setup?

Plex. The one and only reason I have the same setup. If the tray in the player broke, I would not notice it was broken.
