Hi folks
Just want your honest opinion. I stay in Farrarmere Benoni, ADSL speed is nothing less than shocking. Max 2mb line in my area and I get a 1mb download speed on a sunny day.
Feels like deep and dark Africa though. By when do you guys reckon will most of the country have proper internet speed? (Leafy suburbs and the average subs) Say 10mb. Is this even something I should be dreaming about? Surely we have to get there at some stage, but is that stage 10 years away? 20? In my lifetime?
I keep on hoping for some sort of miracle and test my tel number on the Telkom ADSL line checker to see if they have increased my max speed in the area, to no avail I know... seems like something inside me has hope though.
