Hey guys,

I've been hunting for awhile now and now sure which 100Gb+ Capped package to choose.

Currently Axxess at R189 for 50+50Gb is the one I'm leaning towards, Vox next and WA

Any other suggestions and recommendations? I don't want any shaping and all that other BS. I'm an all day everyday type of user and tired of being shaped so heavily on uncapped packages during the day.

Thanks :)

You know you don't get shaped on business uncapped right?

Anyway the Web Africa home capped accounts have some P2P shaping during the day. If you need to torrent during the day you need business capped.

I mostly just stream and game(steam updates etc incl) and use about 80Gb+-pm, I have a Vox Bolt-On for any heavy downloads at night.

I've been on WA, Vox, Axxess home uncapped(as these are all I can afford) and their shaping during the day is horrid. Business just isn't an option cost wise.

So 100Gb Cap for streaming/gaming during the day + BoltOn for heavy downloads.

Works out to about R510pm incl line. Can't afford more than R600Pm on a 4Mb line.

Then my advice is keep things as they are now.

Why do you want to change?

Well I'll be saving R170 dropping from Vox Home 4mb Uncapped Data and go to 100Gb(Axxess eg) and as I said, the shaping during the day is horrible.

WA and Vox, streaming and any forms of downloads aren't meant to be done during the day with these accounts.

Also just worried with Axxess is that they're the same as Afrikak. WA I know also shapes capped packages but my cousin uses them on 60Gb+120Gb and he hasn't moaned one bit.

I'd definitely recommend WA Home capped. Did you see they give you extra night data for big downloads?

The WA account that you used, was it an uncapped account?

With my recent dealings with VOX, I really cannot recommend them as an ISP at all. Like we have diginet + adsl accounts with them, and we've had lots of issues over the past few months.

Axxess capped works beautifully. We've used this instead of our VOX account when it acted up.
If you're doing the majority of your downloads between 00:00 and 06:00, then WA capped is very good value for money.

Yip standard WA Home Uncapped, had downloaded like 30Gbs on my 4mb line over about 5-6 days and was in 2 star rating.

Then you must have downloaded during the day. Home accounts aren't made for day time downloading.

If you downloaded at midnight you would have been on 5 stars.
