A friend is getting internet for the first time.
Atm she has prepaid Telkom phone line

She will have to get a normal phone line, I don't think you can get ADSL on a prepaid line. So that's R111 pm. The cheapest option at the moment I think is Nahuabroadbands R139 pm all-in-one package which includes ADSL line rental and 1GB of data. You do have to sign a 12 month contract and get a free modem.
