I've already used the Netgear ADSL firewall router. Any others that are worth checking out ?

It really depends on what you need/want, as well as your approach to connectivity management. Given this, for me the best is still a Linux box, though you do need some technical competence if you go this route...

ive got a simple ethernet bridge nothing fancy and it works great all i need for linux pppoe it depends on what you need and how you setting up i would recommend no matter what you get it be ethernet and support pppoe to allow you greater options

i use the netgear 632 it is not to expensive and does what i need it to the 834 has a firewall and some nice added features i belive in keeping things seperate ...
i have always used netgear [the one i have is a no name brand i got before netgear was available] dlimk seem to be ok ... i dont support telkom and do not recommend the marconi based on this
