Best Android E-mail client

FWIW I have two email clients on my phone - the default Gmail app (for Gmail only) and the Outlook app for work emails (from an Exchange box).

WHy two? So that work/private emails are completely separated, and not in use by the same app.

Then I have thunderbird and Outlook on a laptop in case I need to search for something.

I know, but sometimes the choice is not there. And the space restrictions on IMAP for standard hosting packages is an issue.

I joined the company 7 years ago. I have all the email since I started. The host allows for 1gb. I have 7gb of PST for the same account

Yeah, then there's that. Email retention's a big issue. At least, on the bright side, it's electronic and not paper...

Tried my. Com. Doesn't link to office exchange server. Looks like an exact copy of Mailwise but free. Mailwise worth it.

My. Com is Russian and mail.ru

Its light-years ahead of anything else

Moved to Russian version of Dropbox too, 100gb free

Gotta love the Russians

Does it connect to office exchange server for u?

Hello.

I have an S6 and the default mail client is a joke.

Can someone recommend what would be the best mail client?

Is it possible to set up identities on a mail client android app like I remember thunderbird used to be able to do?

I have the following additional information;

I need to link 12 mail boxes additional identities would be beneficial I receive more than 40 mails per hour so it should be able to keep up.

Also would be nice if it doesn't kill the battery as the S6 has the worst battery ever made by Samsung.

Seriously? The S6's email client is pretty sweet if you ask me. What problems do you have with it?

The G4's default email app is crappy, so I'm currently using MailWise for my work exchange account.

It's not that great sync issues battery munching like a motherfckr.

But nothing bad like I can point my finger to it although the app did crash when I haven't been on it for a few hours and 100 odd mails must sync

But now that I am using mymail from Russia omg.

Look Russians apart from the difficult language has a pretty damn legit lifestyle in regards to apps and cloud services.

I want to add screenshots of the interface but that will give away private info.

Just check it out

Trust me I live on mails this one impressed me

Hmmm, not sure I should take your opinion about emails seriously if you don't even know what exchange is.

Just because I don't use an exchange server doesn't mean shiat to be honest.

To this day I can't see a reason why a company would cough out the expense to run their own exchange server compared to the IMAP mail setups.

Exchange is mail server software, IMAP is a protocol of clients connecting to servers. But ok.

Exactly why would I run Microsoft Exchange/activeSync whatever you call it instead of normal outlook connected to my IMAP account?

Huh? First you say you don't understand why companies would fork out the cash for Exchange, but then that is what you'll run?

Exchange is forms part of a suite of products. Email is just one part of it.
