'Best' Android Tablet suggestions

Hi All

I am considering going for a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition, and hopefully I can find a Snapdragon version. This is through Autopage.

I don't think they have high end hybrid Android/Windows 8.1 tablets (Acer) or else I might really consider that.

Is there any other noteworthy tablet I should consider? Don't want an iPad.

I think if I had to get an Android tab I'd get the Google Nexus tabs. They just tickle my fancy

I also prefer Android but do yourself a favour and play with an iPad Air. There is no going back and nothing to challenge it.

I have a Lenovo A3000 from TM for R99/pm, and it's really awesome. I play Shadowrun returns and GTS San Andreas on it, zero problems. It's doing everything. I updated the firmware and I can use it as a phone now.

+1 Even though I have a Nexus 7:erm: Thinking of selling and moving onto iPad Mini Retina...

How did you update the firmware? OTA or did you have to download and flash?
