Best app to run for temperature

What is the best gpu temperature app to run on top of any game window.I think my gpu fan is going because the game freezes with a drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sound.I cant pinpoint the problem with everest as alt + tab dont always work in game.
Could also be that directx files from windows 7 is faulty or virus infected.........mmm,ok back to my first Q.which app do you use.

I have seen 'speedfan' in use. It can log cpu, gpu, hdd, etc temperatures (in graphical form).

any game freezes after 5 mins with 81 degrees.....ooo about those appz not to worry found 4 great ones that shows temps in my games

I hooked up my tv as a second display, u can also try a second monitor...just drag the monitor program and u can monitor it live by turning ur head.
I use speedfan.

one arm does not justify double/multiposting

there is a vb mod that auto merges multiple posts that are sent within a certain time frame e.g. 10 minutes or an hour, maybe the mods should look into it
