Obviously we can't buy any apps, but if you set your phone up correctly you have access to the free apps.

What apps have you installed which is worth the effort and can be recommended?

At the moment I only got the following installed and can recommend it:
- Adobe Reader (no brainer)
- IMDb
- Live Cricket

I also got some of the standard HTC apps, but and foursquare but haven't created an account yet.

jeez guy. Angry Birds and T20 Cricket for games... Pulse reader for news.... GMail for mail... and Interestingness when you have nothing better to do... just to name a few.

I have installed quite a number of apps and I'd recommend the following:
• Amazon Kindle
• Flickr
• Facebook
• The Microsoft Youtube app (required for other apps to work) and then the HTC Youtube app
• Windows Phone Insider
• Imdb
• moTweets - great little Twitter app.
• Messenger by Miyowa
• RunKeeper - great sports & fitness tracking app (on all the other platforms)
• Shazam - for music identification
• ShopSavvy - barcode reader. Great for online shopping if you buy from US.
• WeatherBug - weather app with live tile
• Wonder Reader for Google Reader reading.

I'm trying to set myself up with a US credit card through relatives and hopefully will be able to delve into the world of paid apps soon.
I love that so many apps have a free trial.
