How do companies like foodies operate then? Most of the stuff is either pass the best before date or very close to it.

well apparently a best before date is only for when the food is at its best quality

after that its quality deteriorates slowly

most of the stuff at foodies is canned though and i wouldnt trust that

stuff like coffee and spices and stuff is ok
