Best "Budget/Mid Range" phone.

I am looking for a phone for someone. This person goes through phones like hell. Always a broken screen or some or other fscking issue with their phone.

These are the ones I am considering.

Samsung A54 5G
Oppo A78 5G

Any suggestions? Am I going in the right direction or are there better alternatives?

I don't know the phone market. I use an iPhone.

A34 would be better value

Little difference between Samsung A34 and A54. Most reviews says the A34 performs better.
I purchased the A34 for my daughter as a replacement on an old A50.
A34 is great.
Can't vouch for the Oppo.

My son has the A34, wife has the A54 very little difference. Camera and screen partially better on the a54

Pretty much the standard pricing.... wait to see if there any black Friday deals. The A34 is the best bang for buck model available in SA right now.
