Hi!

I'm in the process of buying my first car and was wondering what are the go to for car trackers with the best service, prices etc.

If it makes a difference, I'm with FNB and can earn ebucks with Tracker.

Thanks in advance!

Doesn’t really matter, car trackers are useless and you don’t want a stolen vehicle back either way. Just get the cheapest one possible.

So there's already a matrix unit installed in the vehicle and they asked if the want me to activate it.

That English would have me running far.
Beamme is pretty basic and does what it needs too. Just remember to call them every 3 months to test the unit

What do you mean regarding the English? For context this is the finance lady and not the salesman.

Does the price seem right, should I just accept this and save me the headache of installing one from a different third party?

Just watch some of the recovery videos of hijacked vehicles, I particularly like the "NoJack" videos.

Time and again, the advice is to have a tracker, even if it's entry-level.

Particularly when there are occupants involved and taken with the vehicle, at least the tracker offers some possibility of finding the occupants (most people probably also wouldn't give a flip about the car being recovered).

We live in SA, you have to put in as many safety features as possible, it might be the difference between life and death.

I have 2 vehicles, each with the Tracker "Recover" plan, which costs me R270/pm for both - you can also track the cars in real-time on the App or Web.

“Our unit have a matrix unit in them” isn’t grammatically sound but est-ce que tu frérot

Price is right, Matrix is a great company and Beame won’t cause issues with the car electricals. Had it before and it has its own battery thus you needing to test every 3 months

If the message didn't catch your attention then don't stress about it :)
