Best cheap 4Mbit uncapped service?

You damn right I did, I am so peeved at Web Africa, I have never had an ISP that restricts your bandwidth, that you pay for so severely, every one should know this.

Besides what I have mentioned even general surfing is badly restricted. the only thing marginally usefull about there connection was gaming but that even suffered over MWEB, they have to be the worst ISP I have tried and I am in the process of trying them all. Used Telkom not bad in all senses except shocking customer service and any changes take a week to implement. Mweb was great no issues anywhere except the price they are no longer competitive. Afrihost well I tried them while they where shifting there network to MTN backbone so connection was a true shocker but will try them again now that they are settled? currently signed with axxess so far impressed only negative is the ping times, have gone from an average ping time of 15 to 50, but all other aspects of there connection have been above average. I also need to note they are upgrading there network at the moment due to high traffic volumes in the Southern areas, so I am really impressed.

If you need to torrent during the day you need a business account. End of story.

This thread is a trick question, "best" and "cheap" never ever work together IMHO

I know I recommended WA but I would also try this option, just because connection doesn't have a 30 day cancel policy, cancel before the 25th and you're fine, if you're not happy.

I was looking through the forums this past week searching for a ISP as I cancelled with OW. I found this now and going try there 2 mb @ R99.00. Anyone using netflix, will I be able to stream during the day and will it effect my star rating ? Really like the no 30 day cancellation policy.

Yes it will work, but at a lower quality until 5pm.

Yes it will affect your star rating.

Best/cheapest 2mb account right now, you won't get better than that.

You won't find a cheap account that works full speed during the day, maybe if it's on 5 stars yes, but that won't last long if you streaming and whatnot during the day, sorry.

If I had a 2mb line, I would be using this.

Thank you for the feedback will give them a try its not a lot of money so will see how it goes. Doesn't look any better with other isp's at this moment and its only R99.00 :)
 
Surprised nobody has mentioned Telkom 4Mb uncapped. They don't shape or throttle at any time, I've been with them for years now.
