True, most compact SUVs are made really cheap and cost cutting is very evident on the build quality.

Airbags makes sense. The more the merrier I'd think. But a buzz or beep when leaving your lane, don't get how that became a "must have" item.

Feature in my car that my wife wants

My car has lane assistance. That was the first thing I switched off. Bloody annoying. Does not work in SA.

Due to family needs I need to upgrade my wife's suzuki Swift sport to something bigger with more boot space.
She does not like Big SUV's so it will need to be a compact SUV.

What should I be looking at?
I had the following in mind:

-Hyundai Creta
-Urban Cruizer
-Nissan Magnite

haval and a cherry is a no.

Vehicle with curtain airbags, adaptive cruize control and lane keep is a must.

Compact SUV's also have tiny boots though?

It gives a gentle nudge on your steering wheel and keeps you between lanes.

And do you find yourself drifting out of lanes often? I'd see the value of it in the sense that if it starts nudging me I should probably pull over and have a break, other than that, I just don't see it. To each his own I suppose.
