Are you sure it has to be a 35mm? This would necessitate you purchasing an expensive full frame body like the Canon 5D Mk2 or Nikon D700/800 (not sure if there are less expensive FF bodies in the nikon range).

If they allow for crop frame (smaller sensor DSLR) bodies then your options are far broader and way cheaper.
