Best Fiber ISP for Gaming

Hi
I have recently signed up for a 1000Mbps fiber account with Afrihost but been having the problem of them not being able to support my speed the past month or so i barley get 100Mbps even tho I'm paying for 10x that witch i get but only before peak times and set times.
My argument is that if i am paying for the Top package witch states a set speed and no FUP ex. please provide me with that speed i don't care about some loss like maybe give me 700Mbps or at least half my package 500Mbps but if i wanted a 100/200 Mbps line i would of got that package friend :cool:

Im looking to move to a new ISP witch can provide me speed as well as very low local latency to datacenters in JHB/CPT but as well to EU/Middle East Datacenters.
Budget R1600.00

I'm guessing Vumatel?

Is it Vumatel or Vuma GPON?

Who is the ISP?

Okay cool so who is the xxx ISP? Have they logged tickets with Vumatel? What is the speedtest to the ISP handover? The speedtests to the ISP handover gets logged and then logging faults with Vumatel they can't deny the poor speeds.

Tried to contact them thru whatsapp/Call centers/Email and they always tell me reboot my Router or my Computer or anything related with the speed test result. Hins why i would rather switch to a diff ISP with agents that knows what they are doing and not just read off a script

wont be able to say the ISP name as i dont want to make there name bad coz they are not that bad just in my case and area maybe so thats why i would just like to switch

What the hell kind of argument is that? the ISP is not your friend and you should not worry about their name and reputation. it is their job to maintain their reputation by giving good service. You should name the ISP in order to get any form of meaningful help. What the hell lol. You are paying for a service and you should get that service end of story. This is a business and they are not your friend that you might try to protect their name lol.
 
And by the way switching on vumatel is not that simple. You have to pay for cancellation fees. Bear that in mind.

How's the IPTV connection on VOX? has anyone tried using IPTV streams via Vox on Fibre.

Not an issue at all. but then again i am on a 1Gbps connection so not sure if that helps.
