I have a friend who stays in Despatch, EC and he finally got bitten by the Fibre bug.

Privileged to him, he has the option of two FNOs (Frogfoot and Metro), but he is not 100% certain which one to pick.

My frontrunner pick for him would be Frogfoot as his FNO because their prices are one of the best in the country, however I am not the expert regarding what to pick for the area because I've heard some bad reviews for Frogfoot in PE, and I don't know too much about Metro other than that they are rolling out through the entire Jbay.

Assuming that Despatch experiences the same connectivity as those in PE on Frogfoot, I think most would advise against going with Frogfoot. You should be able to find the Frogfoot PE subforum here pretty easily and you'll see they do not have a good time at all. I'm on MFN in PE and have been for only 3 months now. There's been a couple of hiccups so I can't say it is super reliable like Openserve but it hasn't driven me anywhere near insanity like Frogfoot seems to do with the PE people. I'd say pay the little bit extra for MFN over Frogfoot as it should be a lot more reliable. The connection itself is also very good on MFN when it is up where people on Frogfoot report packet loss issues and the like pretty frequently. I have yet to experience any packet loss on MFN.

Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with either FNO so it would just depend on which one floats your boat. Frogfoot is known to have some packet loss issues but it's not as severe as people think, but is something to note.

If you need speeds above 300 Mbps then Frogfoot is really your only option until MFN decides to ship out a 500/500 Mbps package. If they need something 200 Mbps or less then I don't see anything wrong with going for Metrofibre. From my experience, they are quite reliable compared to all the fibre networks, but as @DRello said, it's still not Openserve reliable.
