Um this isnt how fx works, each of the banks will charge their own rates. If this is a large amount you can use a place like currencies direct I use them alot rates way better than the banks.

They have a branch in cape town, I have used then for most of my fx sent for foreign investments, last 7 months .please note that all FX is closed on weekends and dont forget that swift fee

My apologies, I have ZARs with in need to exchange for USDs and then to send them to Europe.

so you have zar in FNB and want to send USD to Europe? assuming USD account?

look crypto would actually be quicker BTC takes less than an hour you can do it over the weekend as well.

Alternatively you can use FNB but Currencies direct have better rates.

I actually want to send the money to bitstamp to buy crypto.

I have looked at Currencies direct but it seems they can't do it online.
