It's free (community edition), 7.1MB, runs on Java and works nothing like AutoCAD.

The student version is free.

It is not open source.

Not entirely sure why the is there.. TUKS architecture students are taught with Google Sketch-Up. A friend of mine is currently modelling Loftus using it.
