Correct, I see photos can edit video as well, the free part is a problem.

The OP has another post for other requirement, Adobe CC would be her best bet.

I haven't really used Premiere, but it's pretty standard video editing stuff. Takes some time to learn where everything is but not any different to a similarly featured alternative.

There are usually many video editing programs, so I can recommend the following: OpenShot, Imovie, AVS Video Editor.
