So the gf just stopped by at work, saying that she has a surprise for me. I head outside, and lo and behold, it's a new laptop :eek:

It's a Dell Studio 1558, main specs are:
Core i5 520M
15.6" 720p WLED screen
4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM
500GB HD (7200 RPM)
1GB ATI Radeon 5470
Embedded 3G
802.11n
Win 7 Pro 64-bit
HDMI and all the usual standard laptop ports

Now I'm no PC gamer (console boy here), but I reckon that I can play something like Starcraft 2 on medium settings?

My GF went to hong kong/china 2 weeks ago - gadget capital of the world!
Guess what I got?

A pair of sandles, and a pair of jeans. nice......... except that none of it fit!

I tell you. we were laying in bed and she asks me "guess how much the sandles cost"

i was like, i dunno

......she tells me 2 Yen...or whatever currency it was..... after a while she told me no it was 20 yen and she was just joking.

Can Anyone tell me what sandles cost in china/ hong kong? Because I'm buying her a new 6th gen iPod Nano & Wowee1 Gel Speaker system next weekend for her B-day, but thinking twice now after this thread.......

Lol she asked my brother in law to help her pick it out, and seeing that we're not from the east rand, I don't think that I need to worry about that :D
