Ja! dat is cool. i used both apps yesterday on my way back. They both have the ipod control option. Navigon always prompts me first when there is a turn off.
I can't get the Panorama 3D view right. I dropped the Terrain_SAC in the right folder, and the make 3d deb file keeps giving me a line error when i install.
If anyone can get around this dat will be awesome.

Thankfully NDrive has been removed or I would have said, "whatever you get, don't get NDrive".

It used to be the best one for the iPhone, then they "updated" it so that it cannot route into a secured area anymore. Rather than trying to take you to the gate, you simply get an annoying error saying it cannot calculate the route.

I am considering getting the TomTom one for my iPhone 4, but I have one remaining question - how much does the "in-app purchase" of the HD traffic cost, and how well does it really work?

Bought tomtom today. Tried it out, forced it to recalc by not turning when asked and just testing it generally. Must say that I am imprssesed. Was a choice between Navigon which a mate has and I have seen in action, was very good, and the tomtom.

Tomtom won out for having perceived better coverage north of our borders, a very slick interface and being $10 cheaper. So far so good.

apptracker didnt have navigon for southern africa, but thankfully found it on appcake. Looking forward to trying this!

Have any of you guys tried Global Navigator? Its free but I haven't been able to test it yet as MTN as taking their sweet time to activate my sim card.
