Best ground coffee for plunge?

I find any of the woolies ground coffees alright. Otherwise the Foreign Ground brand you can buy at checkers is good as well. I've only ever had the Columbian though, as it's pretty similar tasting to the Columbian from woolies.
The first prize would be to find a little coffee roastary like The Green Bean in Durban that'll grind you up a freshly roasted batch. That always tastes great.

Some would argue that instant coffee is safer, because of the high Chicory content and lower actual coffee content.

Importers Blue mountain. Best coffee ever.
Might seem like hassle, but buying beans and grinding them really makes a difference. Like seriously.

Had a coffee machine and oddly enough have grown to love me plunger! I personally didn't get much of a taste difference between preground or grinding your own beans. Just try a couple until you find the one that works for you and is also the strength you like.
Just one biggie.. put a sprinkle of salt into your coffee - all the connoisseurs recommend that!

I'd suggest trying the same beans freshly roasted, and more stale beans. Massive difference.
