Best hardtop convertible under 150k

What would you say is the best hardtop convertible under 150k (used).

So far I have looked at

Peugeot

307cc

Opel
Tigra
Twintop

Renault
Megane II

I am leaning towards the Opel Astra Twintop but it is a bit pricier than the rest (obviously depending on year and mileage)
I like the Tigra but heard terrible things about leaks and catching fire.

I had a used 307cc for a while last year - and really the novelty wears off pretty quickly..

Sure its great to have the top down but you can't help feeling like a douche, and then every time you park having to make sure you've left nothing in the car to steal (or put the top down again in the parking lot = extra douchey)

But my main gripe was just how underpowered it was, the 2l engine just couldn't overcome the additional weight. Slow and sluggish drive..

Get a MR2 or MX-5 with the removable hard-roof if you really need it. Soft-top is great too and is much less likely to break and more like to be used.

My brother drives a Mazda 3 and apparently parts can be difficult to come by. Have you had any similar experience with the MX-5?

I've got a 2007 MX-5, great car and reasonable to service/repair for a relatively sporty car.

@Messuga I have no problem with spares at all. Also there is an awesome mx5 club in the UK who organise and send out anything I special I may need.

With R150K budget you should be able to pick up a 2006+ NC. You can also go for a 2001-2005 NB2.5 with low kms, they're all awesome.

I order my parts from RSPeed.net, parts in SA can be a little bit pricey. These cars are bulletproof though so don't expect much to go wrong.
