Best IMAP for GMAIL on Tablet?

As far as my experince goes, any mail client will work if you set the ports for connection correctly. I have the gmail imap on a iphone, droid and a nokia.

There is a guide on google on how to do it. Make sure you enable imap on your account settings first, as it is disabled by default.
 
What sort of tablet do you have? If possible it would be better to use the Gmail app if you have an android phone or iphone.
 
K-9 is very good. My email accounts are all Gmail, but the Gmail app on my 10.1 Tab keeps force-closing, so I'm now using IMAP with K-9 - lots of settings to play with, and seems to have every feature you might need. Having said that, Gmail on Honeycomb was great, so I'd prefer to be able to use that.
