Loooking for the best inkjest scanner printer, been looking at many options but can't seem to find one that would be able to scan a book. One with a flip up lid.

Can the Canon Pixma scan books?

My old HP 3-in-1 could do that as the lid could slide off...

Almost all the multifunction printers have flip-up lids, so they'll be able to scan books. Why not just visit your local computer store?

Thanks, I live in a small town with no facilities like that. But if they generally all have flip up lids then thanks for the info it difficult to see from descriptions and pictures.

How much do you have to spend? You should really look at getting a laser if you can help it. Ink is so ludicrously priced that it only takes 1 refill to make the lasers worthwhile.

You mean Flatbeds? Yeah, most of the units have flatbed scanners and some an ADF unit on top. You can have a look at the Pixma MP250.
