So we have a small-ish company, and want to implement a quota management system on our internet connection. Basically give each user a limited amount of bandwidth they can download each day/month. Does anyone have any recommendations?
We've been trying Kerio Winroute Firewall. It does the quota management fine, but seems to be tricky on the firewall side, blocking access to some intranet websites with big companies (logons fail and the like). Plus, it costs a bundle. Surely there are some free/cheap/open source options available? Preferably Windows, but Linux too if the need be.
Preemptive thanks for you help!
