hi,

i'll likely be getting an ipad 2 within the next few days and i'm looking around for a really nice looking, yet functional, case. I really liked the look and function of the Apple folio case for the original ipad.

Any suggestions/thoughts?

A colleague of mine just got one of these and paid R380 for it. Its pretty cool. Not sure where he got it from though.
I bought a Griffin from the iStore in Canal Walk (Cape Town) but it set me back R499!

RESuRRECTION but,

i am getting my ipad2 today. I need help deciding which case to get. I will not go over R500 for one, also i want a folio one so it can stand.

Im looking at the following:

http://www.kalahari.com/electronics...-2-Candy-Convertible-White/4585/43418572.aspx -- Hard candy convertible

http://www.kalahari.com/electronics...-Vegan-Leather-Cover-Black/4585/41633131.aspx -- Speck fitfolio

http://www.kalahari.com/electronics...-Folio-Carbon-Fibre-Black/4585/43398773.aspx# -- Extreme mac thin folio

I'm leaning towards the ExtremeMac thin folio as its the only one with the magnetic sleep/wake. Also looks quite cool. I would highly prefer kalahari as i have lots of vouchers for it :)

please help me choose.
Dont want SmartCover

I bought the Ozaki hard cover, stands 2 ways and has a magnetic cover, switches the iPad off when closing. Was 599 at the apple store in FOURWAYS mall. Had the speck cover and the griffin leather before, both were crap, this one is awesome!

cool tx. I actually just took the plunge and went for the ExtremeMac one, will report back :)
