I'll be getting WebAfrica Business from next week. After all the MTN issues I can't really recommend Afrihost at this point in time. That's not even considering their support issues.

Web Africa though is IS based and seems like the best option.

I would recommend taking the 4Meg data package though and run it on your 6meg lines and see what speeds you get.

i can but ineed the full 6mbps all the time cuz i need it to stream 1080p

so its 10mbps that a wast to pay cuz i can only support 6max

so that leaves me with MTN network or the openweb i got now night speed is fine, but i want daytime speed also

what happened to OW gold?

the daytime torrent speed are not good
and internet only works fast way later at night

and atm i dont even download in the day
i tryed running a torrent in the day

went from 2gb per hour(night) to 3mb per hour in the day

and the AH-B are only a few rand more, and for the exstra speed i get in the day its worth it cuz i will be able to use more bandwith
downloads in the day and my usaly work in the night (streaming)

Sigh.

Fine you're making me give the long explanation.

With TCP over heads you're only gonna get around 5.4Mb/s per second away if you ran a 6Mb/s account on a 6Mb/s line.

Then considering that ISPs never throttle exactly right you'll get around 5Mb/s anyway with the 4Mb/s account.

i know the overhead will be less and get more like 4.5
but with the 6mbps i will get faster speed and more stable also
so a more constant speed eg 600kb/s
where with the 4mbps account it will go around at 400-500,sometime 600for a few seconds
