Hello,
I am actually new to the forums (and South Africa) and some stuff here are... different.
Firstly, I am looking to get internet. It is a must for me. This is what I do:
- Gamer. I play a lot on Xbox One, PS4 and PC and prefer to buy my games digitally.
- I watch A LOT of videos online.
- Reading/Studying (Learning a new programming language)
- For downloading: Not so much, but I still do download. Also, I am looking to install Windows 10 on my PC and laptop so that's a bunch of GB already used.
What would you recommend?
Right now, my budget is R600 and I don't have a DSL line yet.
I was looking at Crystal Web. They have a 2mbps premium uncapped for R489 (with DSL line included, when I get my DSL line. Otherwise it's R349 p/m). Would it be worth it for me?
Also... Routers! The Router they are selling is R999 (cheapest). That's too much, so If anyone could recommend something cheaper and reliable, I would greatly appreciate it!
Also, why is a DSL line required here? I thought a phone line would be enough
All help would be appreciated. Thanks!
